Thank You Everyone who kept him in their prayers and thoughts during his tour of Afghanistan.
My soldier Grandson is in Cyprus at the moment en route back to the UK.
I say we are happy and grateful is an understatement.
We are more than Grateful. More than Happy.
Our boy was injured out on patrol and sustained four broken ribs.
But we did not allow our tears to flow, well not for too long.
Two boys he was out on patrol with are now double amputee's
so our tears and thoughts are for those boys and their families.
I think there may be some partying around here this weekend

Wonderful news Sheilagh! I can well imagine how you must feel and thoughts also go to those who weren't so lucky. Those lads are all doing a fabulous job but it will be great when they are all home safely.
