About Me

My photo
I retired on March 11th 2014 after 26 years as a doctors receptionist. I am now looking forward to the freedom to enjoy my days doing anything I wish to. Spending time with family, catching up with friends. Playing in my Scrappy Shack, scrapbooking, cardmaking, art journalling, quilting, gardening, baking. Spending wonderful times with my beloved other half. I am so looking forward to this time in my life.

WOYWW10

My desktop looking a tip again. I have been having yet another big sort out in my shed and this is the desk this morning:(  My DH bought me another unit from IKEA which was not the one we went to IKEA for but it was a bargain of the week and it works better than the one we went for, does that make sense.  Of course it doesn't this is me talking...

This is the one we bought, £29.99 usually £61.00, the far one with all my scrapbooks in was the one we went to get another one of. The one we got is much more suitable for all my different sized boxs and I am delighted with it.

This is the far end of my shed, reorganised (honest it is).

The corner by the door, my DH gave my the plywood box from his shed, it has got to be painted.

This was Monday morning, I can be tidy sometimes, it never lasts though:(

If you want to see some tidy little gems or some crafty middens go visit Julia, she collects them for fun.

Here are the pictures before I filled the shed to the gunnells. I thought I had so much room..lolollooolllllll (hysterical laughter).lololollloolllooooolol

WOYWW9

Something different from my workdesk today, rather late too:(
I think she has done really well with the minimum of help from me.
I  am proud to show the handiwork of my lovely granddaughter Jessica.  It is her 11th birthday tomorrow and she  made her own invitations and this evening made her own goody bags.
I think she has done really well with the minimum guidance from her proud grandma

She is pictured here with her little sister Emily, who this time last year was very poorly in hospital and Jessica didn't get the birthday she deserved. This year it is very different, they are both the picture of health and are the most wonderful fun.

I'm late but it is never too late to pop over to Julia and have a mooch about:)

WOYWW8

I bought this pot holder in a sale at the weekend.
I thought of decorating it myself.
Any inspirational idea's would be most welcome.

Happy WOYWW Day

Salutations to our Leader.
