About Me

My photo
I retired on March 11th 2014 after 26 years as a doctors receptionist. I am now looking forward to the freedom to enjoy my days doing anything I wish to. Spending time with family, catching up with friends. Playing in my Scrappy Shack, scrapbooking, cardmaking, art journalling, quilting, gardening, baking. Spending wonderful times with my beloved other half. I am so looking forward to this time in my life.

Something different from my workdesk today, rather late too:(
I think she has done really well with the minimum of help from me.
I  am proud to show the handiwork of my lovely granddaughter Jessica.  It is her 11th birthday tomorrow and she  made her own invitations and this evening made her own goody bags.
I think she has done really well with the minimum guidance from her proud grandma

She is pictured here with her little sister Emily, who this time last year was very poorly in hospital and Jessica didn't get the birthday she deserved. This year it is very different, they are both the picture of health and are the most wonderful fun.

I'm late but it is never too late to pop over to Julia and have a mooch about:)

  1. Fab job Jessica your friend will love them Hugs Pam x

  2. Hope the party goes well. She has worked really hard with these and yes what a difference a year makes xxxxxxxxx

  3. WOW grandma Jessica did a great job with the invites and the goodie bags. I know everyone will love the party. Thanks for sharing! Vickie #69

  4. Its a good thing when littles start crafting - we need to pass all the skills on or else they will get lost in the mists of time.
