About Me

My photo
I retired on March 11th 2014 after 26 years as a doctors receptionist. I am now looking forward to the freedom to enjoy my days doing anything I wish to. Spending time with family, catching up with friends. Playing in my Scrappy Shack, scrapbooking, cardmaking, art journalling, quilting, gardening, baking. Spending wonderful times with my beloved other half. I am so looking forward to this time in my life.

  6. Hi there...just popped in to say that I am your latest follower.
I know you do lovely stamping as I looked back at previous posts...but mostly as I want to follow the story of your husbands road to recovery.

I too have been through a very scary time with my husbands health (30 years ago) and I remember how we just had to take one day at a time (for 3 years).
I know it is hard to do and just wanted offer my support.
When my Husband was a litle boy, he had his optic nerve severed in an accident. Luckily there was an eye surgeon (from America)lecturing at a conference in the city. He was rushed there and his vision was saved...not perfectly, but some vision saved.
Over the years, he has been asked by various eye surgeons if he could come in and let the students take a look at his eye...They all marvel that he can see...so i know miracles do happen!
