About Me

My photo
I retired on March 11th 2014 after 26 years as a doctors receptionist. I am now looking forward to the freedom to enjoy my days doing anything I wish to. Spending time with family, catching up with friends. Playing in my Scrappy Shack, scrapbooking, cardmaking, art journalling, quilting, gardening, baking. Spending wonderful times with my beloved other half. I am so looking forward to this time in my life.

WOYWW 166

Still working in the kitchen, my album for my grandson is coming along slowly.  I have been taking my time so as not to make any mistakes, but guess what, I made a mistake!! I stuck the outer hinges right down.  No where for the covers to fit, so I have come up with this, hope it works.......
If anyone has any hints or advice about it I would graciously accept any help.
Next step is the cover, heaven help me.....

Now I am late posting so I am nipping over to Lady Dunnit's to see what I have been missing, care to join me?

  1. Happy WOYWW. What a lovely project, but it must be very difficult to think of your grandson going away. My BIL has just finished his 34 years in the army at the age of 50 (he has been thinking of leaving for a while, but kept being asked to do another year), and it will be a relief to not worry about him so much. 2. It doesn't look like a mistake from here Sheilagh, but whatever, don't be fretting, GS won't know or mind, and it's absolutely amazing, really. and...I really like your bunting printed kitchen roll!

  3. Sometimes when you make a mistake you think of something that fixes it that looks better than the original way to do it. I think yours looks pretty cool to me. Sandy :) #31
